The College of Education for Pure Sciences organized a scientific lecture on
(Approximate Analytical Methods for Solving Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations)
The lecture, presented by researcher (Ali Fares Abdelali), included the importance of nonlinear partial differential equations in describing many scientific and engineering phenomena, such as physics, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, biology, and fluid mechanics. Due to the difficulty of obtaining accurate solutions to these equations, analytical and semi-analytical methods have been developed with the aim of finding effective approximate solutions.
In this episode, we discussed the development of these methods and their impact in the field of numerical analysis, as they contributed to providing powerful tools for quantitative and qualitative analysis of complex problems. We also reviewed some practical applications of these methods and the most important challenges facing researchers in this field.
