The College of Education for Pure Sciences, in cooperation with the General Secretariat of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, held an awareness seminar on the role of youth in preventing psychotropic substances at exactly twelve o'clock noon.

The seminar, which was delivered by a number of lecturers, included an awareness dialogue and answers to all the questions raised by the attendees, which contributed to the success of the seminar's activities and its continuous cooperation in the continuity of activities at the university.

It is worth noting that the awareness seminar comes within a series of programs and activities planned by the Department of Religious Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine to organize it in various colleges in Iraqi universities.

At the end of the seminar, a letter of thanks and appreciation was sent to the delegation of the shrine for holding such an awareness seminar for students, as well as to the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Haider Qasim Fadhel, and the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Dakhel Mutlaq Zughair.
