University of Basrah  announces obtaining the approval of the Ministry of Higher Education to transfer its students between similar colleges.
The President of the University, Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazim, announced the approval of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to transfer students from the College of Education, Al-Qurna, to the Colleges of Education.
The President of the University stated that the transfer instructions stipulate that students are allowed to move to and from colleges that are at least (100) kilometers away from each other.
Adding that the instructions received from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research stipulated that the promotion of transactions be in paper form for a period of one week from 9/10/2024.
Noting that this procedure is the first of its kind and comes in line with the directions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to ease the burden on students' families while taking into account academic integrity in universities and that the University of Basra is ready to carry out the procedures for transferring students from the College of Education, Al-Qurna, to the Colleges of Education according to the issued instructions and within the specified period.
