On Tuesday, 7/9/2024, the College of Education for Science at the University of Basra conducted the competitive examination for students applying for postgraduate studies (PhD, Master, and Diploma) for the academic year 2024/2025, under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Majid Muhammad Jassim, and Associate Professor Dr. Haider Fadel. 183 applicants were received from the governorates of Iraq to take the competitive examination to obtain doctoral and master’s degrees in specializations. Physics, chemistry, life sciences, mathematics and computer science
The examination halls have been prepared and all amenities have been provided for the students in order to perform the exam in an excellent manner. The results of the candidates will be announced according to the seats allocated for each degree and each specialty, according to the timings of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
