The College of Education for Pure Sciences celebrated the sixtieth anniversary of the founding of the University of Basrah
In celebration of the University Day celebrations, the college’s scientific departments organized a number of scientific exhibitions and events in which a group of college students participated, including a flower exhibition, a calligraphy and drawing exhibition, a group of medical examinations and chemical experiments, and also an exhibition of stuffed animals.
The celebration was opened by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Majid Muhammad Jassim, who in turn praised the efforts made by the department heads, teachers and students in making this event a success, which highlights the role of the University of Basra in achieving its goals since its founding to serve the community.
The University of Basrah  awards various academic degrees, including bachelor's, higher diploma, master's, and doctorate in various scientific and humanitarian specializations.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, everyone directed the highest supplications to the Almighty God, to make the new year for our college a year of goodness, success, excellence, and lasting creativity for all. God is the Grantor of success.
