The University of Basrah organizes a scientific lecture entitled (Pyrazole and its heterocyclic derivatives, preparation, interactions, complexes with transition elements, and biological activity)

The College of Education for Pure Sciences, Department of Chemistry, organized a scientific lecture entitled (Pyrazole and its heterocyclic derivatives: preparation, interactions, complexes with transition elements, and biological activity)
The lecture presented by the researcher (Abdullah Khairallah Abdul Hussein) included an introduction to pyrazole
Consisting of three carbon atoms and two C3H4N2 atoms, a heterocyclic pentacyclic compound with the formula nitrogen, two adjacent rings, with two double cyclic bonds, pyrazoles are basic in nature.
It is considered one of the most studied groups of compounds among the azole family, and in fact there has been a great variety of preparation methods and analogues prepared over the years.
The presence of pyrazole nucleus in different compositions leads to diverse applications in different fields such as technology, medicine and agriculture. Likewise, many pyrazole compounds are important in the field of manufacturing dyes and medicines, such as pyrazolone dyes, which are used in color photography, antipyrene, penofylminosulfone, and aminophenazone in medicine.
The lecture concluded with the importance and effectiveness of these compounds as promising compounds in inhibiting bacteria.
