Basrah University organizes a workshop on (domestic violence)

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the College of Education for Pure Sciences and the Women’s Affairs Unit, in cooperation with the Center for Educational Guidance and Psychological Care and the Center for Development and Continuing Education, organized an in-person workshop on (domestic violence) and its impact on the family and society.
The aim of the workshop was to shed light on the most important issues that society in general suffers from, and women in particular, and to introduce the types of domestic violence, the motives and the damages resulting from it. A clear picture of the mechanism for containing domestic violence was also given, and there was an outstanding interaction and attendance by the students at the workshop.
