In a gesture that is the first of its kind, the Retirement Division of the Department of Administrative and Financial Affairs at the University of Basrah , in cooperation with the National Retirement Authority, began distributing the identities of retirees to university employees after completing their transactions in a record time.

The President of the University of Basrah, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, stated that we have begun to implement the recommendations of the Prime Minister and the confirmation of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which include the implementation of a package of measures to support the retirees, and our administrative cadres have begun to complete the transactions of our retired employees, and today we delivered (14) retirement identities to their owners a few days after they were referred To retire without bothering to review.

The Director of the Department of Administrative and Financial Affairs at the University of Basrah, Dr. Osama Nazim Jaafar, indicated that the Retirement Division of the department has completed the completion of the retirement transactions from adding military service or contract service, and salaries have been allocated and identities are issued within a period of time not exceeding one week.
