The University of Basrah discusses a master's thesis entitled (Study of the synthesis and activity of curcumin and its derivatives)

The College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Basrah  in the Department of Chemistry discussed a master's thesis entitled (Study of the synthesis and activity of curcumin and its derivatives)
The thesis presented by the researcher, Ayman Ghazi Faisal Al-Ibrahim, included identifying organically prepared curcumin derivatives and analogues, mentioning the preparation methods and techniques used in diagnosing the prepared organic compounds, and why these compounds are important in medical applications in combating toxins, parasites, infections, and the effective role in fighting cancerous tumors. Several studies were conducted on the compounds. The organic preparations, where the effectiveness of the compounds was studied on leukemia k562, where the compounds gave a high biological effectiveness in fighting cancer cells. The molecular anchoring of the prepared compounds was studied, and the toxicity of the curcumin compounds was studied using a global program.
