Under the auspices of the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Basrah and under the supervision of the Student Activities Department, the finals of the (Knowledge Meeting) competition, a scientific, cultural, mathematical and religious championship, were held for the second year among the faculties of the University of Basrah, as part of the celebrations of the anniversary of the founding of the University of Basrah, at the Knowledge Hall in the College of Education for Pure Sciences. The College of Education for Human Sciences won the first place after winning the College of Veterinary Medicine in the second place, and the College of Agriculture won the third place.
The Assistant Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Majid Muhammad Jassim, and the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Abdul Sattar Jaber, attended the tournament and supervised the management of the tournament, M. Ali Sabbar Muhammad, responsible for the Student Activities Unit. The winners were honored with medals in appreciation of their efforts in making this championship a success.
