
The College of Education for Pure Sciences, in cooperation with the Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah, organized a scientific symposium entitled (Computational Chemistry is a Laboratory without Cost)
The symposium aimed to introduce the importance of computational chemistry.
And the interpretation of scientific results associated with scientific research.
The workshop was attended by the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Abdul Sattar Jaber Ali, the respected, and Mr. Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. The respected Majid Muhammad Jassim and the head of the chemistry department, Prof. Dr. Moayad Yousef Kazem, the respected. And a group of professors of the department and postgraduate students, and that was in the Knowledge Hall in the College of Education for Pure Sciences, and a discussion took place between the lecturer and the attending professors about the extent to which the theoretical results match the process in terms of preparing the compounds and calculating some functions of computational chemistry to find solutions to some of the obstacles facing them in scientific research.
