Basrah University organizes a scientific lecture on (pentacyclic compounds containing more than one heterogeneous atom)

The College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Basrah organized a scientific lecture on (pentacyclic compounds containing more than one heterogeneous atom)
The lecture presented by the researcher (Ahmed Abdel-Hadi Majid) included two classes of heterocyclic compounds (thiazoles and oxadiazoles) and a study of their interactions and biological activity. A heterocyclic compound is an organic compound that contains a hybrid atom with the most common heterocyclic atoms (O, N, S).
The lecture focused on studying thiazolidine, its preparation, its biological efficacy, and some of the drugs and antibiotics containing it at first. Then, the oxadiazole ring, its isomers, effectiveness, methods of preparing it from hydrazide, the pros and cons of each method, studying its derivatives and their use in medical aspects, especially drugs used in the treatment of cancer cells, viruses, bacteria and fungi.
