The College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Basra organized a scientific lecture entitled (Polymeric Electrodes and Their Applications)
The lecture presented by the student (Sajida Jawad Kazem) included
Polymeric electrodes are generally considered electrodes that contain polymeric materials that have the ability to conduct electrically.
The purpose of the lecture
It is to increase the sensitivity, selectivity and stability of electrodes and increase their various applications in many fields. Polymeric electrodes can usually be prepared from monomers that have the ability to form a cascade system or from modified organic molecules such as azo compounds, Schiff bases, crownethers and other compounds that also have a cascade system. There are different ways to prepare it by chemical or electropolymerization. These electrodes can be used in a wide range of promising applications such as light-emitting diodes (LEDs), photovoltaic cells, electric screens, sensors, batteries, drug releases, supercapacitors, artificial muscles and more
