The College of Education for Pure Sciences/Department of Physics, in cooperation with the Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basra, organized a workshop entitled (Transfer of Electron through a Single Quantum Point)
The workshop presented by the lecturer, Dr. Musa Kazem Shamer clarification of the importance of the topic of the workshop in the field of keeping pace with the rapid global development in the field of nanoelectronics and modern programming, especially the topic of quantum computing. The lecture dealt with the definition of a single quantum point and the effect of each of the locations of energy levels, exchange energy and exposure in energy levels on the electron transfer through the quantum point, as well as the magnetic field applied to the quantum point placed between two non-magnetic poles through an expanded theoretical model that takes into account all the physical factors that have An active role in the electron transfer process, and the topic was discussed practically and theoretically by the attendees, and the recommendations were to develop such theoretical studies in the field of nanoelectronics and twist engineering and keep pace with the global development in this field. More researchers interested in this important specialization, and the session was moderated by (Director of the Continuing Education Unit)
The meeting was attended by the Head of the Physics Department, professors and graduate students, and some of the students of the initial stages from the Physics Department
