Basra University organizes a scientific lecture on (Triazole compounds)

The College of Education for Pure Sciences, Department of Chemistry, organized a scientific lecture on (Triazole Compounds)
The lecture presented by the researcher (Sadiq Muhammad Hassan) included
In this study, two series of 3,2,1 triazole compounds were prepared and their biological activity was studied. The composition of the prepared triazoles has been proven by known diagnostic methods such as infrared spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, mass spectrometry and proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy.
The biological activity of the prepared compounds against viruses, bacteria and skin cancer was studied. The 1,4-dimeric compounds of 3,2,1-triazole derived from thymine and acetaminophen have shown promising results for HIV-IIIB resistance.
Molecular docking of triazoles with some proteins was also studied, and compounds M6 and M7 showed the highest binding energy with EBY1 and 1REV proteins, which indicates their effectiveness compared to the rest of the studied compounds. While the compounds M10 and M11 showed a high binding energy with the amino acid residues of the protein EQC3 according to the calculations of the Autodock program.
The purpose of the lecture
Preparation of triazole compounds and computational study of their spectroscopic properties and biological activity.
