The College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Basra organized an electronic workshop, in cooperation with the Center for Development and Continuing Education, on (climate change and its impact on the world)
The workshop, which was presented by the lecturer in the Department of Physics, included (Prof. Dr. Abdel Amir Imran Musa) and the session was moderated by (Prof. Dr. Fatima Hussein Saeed), Director of the Continuing Education Unit at the College.
The aim of the workshop: to identify the causes of climate change in the world in general, and the Arab world and Iraq in particular, as well as presenting some suggestions for addressing climate change and discussing them with the audience
Attending the workshop was via Google meet for teachers and students, and a discussion was opened with the attendees to answer their inquiries and comments on the topic that was well received by everyone. The organizers of the workshop recommended the necessity of paying attention to such topics and involving the students in discussing them and paying attention to them because they are the leaders of the future
