The College of Education for Pure Sciences, Department of Physics, University of Basra, discussed a doctoral thesis on (the conjugate shape and energy levels in single-single nuclei 92-98Y, 128-134Pr and 202-210Fr.)
The thesis presented by the researcher (Musa Muhammad Mahdi) included
Conducting a theoretical study to understand the nuclear structure of individual nuclei using the boson-fermion-fermion interaction model (IBFFM-1). Where the Hamiltonian IBFFM-1 consists of four parts, the first part relates to the nucleus of the core (even-even), the second and third part relates to the odd atomic number and odd neutron number, and the last part describes the residual interaction VRES between unpaired fermions
The aim of the thesis
Studying the nuclear structure of three nuclear chains in different nuclear regions using three nuclear models namely IBM-1, IBFM-1 and IBFFM-1 by calculating the energy spectrum and electromagnetic transitions that occur between energy levels.
Thesis concluded
The aforementioned models have succeeded to a great extent in giving an accurate description of the nuclear structure and structure, showing that nuclei 92-98Y and 202-210Fr are vibrational nuclei, while nuclei 128-134Pr are nuclei.
