The College of Education for Pure Sciences in the Department of Chemistry, in cooperation with the Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah, organized a workshop entitled (How to write a successful scientific research)

The workshop objectives:
Learn about the basics and themes of practical research
Types of scientific research and writing methods for each type
Explaining to researchers, especially graduate students, the basics of writing practical research and what requirements must be met to write scientific research.
The basic axes of writing scientific research
And specific guidelines for writing scientific research
And academic writing methods
Guidance tips for overcoming the obstacles that researchers face while writing scientific research
The writing process and its goals
The workshop was attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Graduate Studies, Prof. Dr. Abdel Sattar Jaber Ali and the Head of the Chemistry Department, Prof. Dr. Moayad Yousef Kazem and a group of department professors and graduate students. This was in the department council hall in the Chemistry Department, and a discussion took place between the lecturer and the attending professors about writing the scientific research topics. The organizers of the workshop recommended the necessity of communicating with graduate students with all new scientific achievements within the department and also to find Solutions to some of the obstacles they face in scientific research.
