The University of Basra, under the patronage and presence of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen, organized the commemoration of the hoisting ceremony of the Husseini banner on the occasion of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, on the commemoration of Ashura, on Wednesday corresponding to 8/11/2021 in Bab Al-Zubair Complex.

The ceremonies witnessed Hussainiya speeches that recalled the heroic stances of Imam Al-Hussein, peace be upon him, and his pure family.
